WHO WE ARE ??

Toronto Telugu Community (TTC) was founded in December 2022 with a vision to unite, empower, and support Telugu-speaking individuals across Canada. Our mission is to preserve and promote Telugu heritage, assist newcomers in adapting to life in Canada, and foster a strong Indo-Canadian network that thrives on cultural pride and community spirit. Through grand cultural celebrations, educational workshops, social networking events, and charitable initiatives, we aim to bridge generations, strengthen our roots, and provide valuable resources to our members. We actively support new immigrants, students, seniors, and underprivileged communities by offering settlement guidance, scholarships, healthcare support, and food donation drives. TTC is more than just a community—it is a home away from home, where Telugu traditions flourish, lifelong friendships are built, and a spirit of togetherness drives us forward. Join us in celebrating our rich heritage, contributing to meaningful causes, and shaping a vibrant future for Telugu families in Canada.

OUR MISSION

Toronto Telugu Community (TTC) is dedicated to preserving and promoting Telugu culture, heritage, and values while fostering a sense of belonging among Telugu-speaking individuals in Canada. Our mission is to unite, support, and empower the community through cultural celebrations, educational programs, and charitable initiatives.

We aim to organize grand Telugu festivals, social gatherings, and youth engagement activities that strengthen our traditions and bring the community closer. By assisting new immigrants with settlement guidance, supporting students through scholarships, and helping those in need with food drives, healthcare initiatives, and charity programs, we strive to make a meaningful impact.

TTC is committed to building a strong Indo-Canadian network, where individuals and families can connect, grow, and contribute to society while staying rooted in their Telugu identity. Through collaboration, volunteerism, and cultural pride, we envision a thriving Telugu community that continues to flourish for generations to come.

OUR VISION

Our vision is to create an inclusive, thriving, and culturally enriched Telugu community that remains deeply rooted in its traditions while actively contributing to Canadian society. We aspire to build a strong, connected network where Telugu-speaking individuals and families can celebrate their heritage, support one another, and foster a sense of belonging.

Through cultural events, educational initiatives, and community-driven programs, we aim to empower future generations, ensuring that Telugu values and traditions are preserved and passed on. We envision a future where Telugu language, arts, and customs flourish across generations, while embracing the diversity and opportunities that Canada offers.

Beyond cultural preservation, we are committed to social responsibility and community service, supporting new immigrants, students, seniors, and those in need through charitable initiatives, mentorship programs, and outreach efforts. By encouraging collaboration, volunteerism, and inclusivity, we strive to create a harmonious, engaged, and dynamic Telugu community that makes a lasting impact both within Canada and beyond.
